A Shot in the Dark Poster

This is the first in the faith chapter of my Reflections on Reality series. 

This piece holds lessons of humility and courage for me. The figure drops to her knees, with no where to go, surrounded by the dark. As her last chance, she raises the Orb above her head (the orbs in my work often represent the mind/heart) and pulls on its connections (the lines/doodles) and out soaring upwards is a bird of light, just as water comes crashing down around her, but not overcoming her.
